Twitters co-founders were Evan Williams and Biz Stone and Jack Dorsey. Twitter is a website designed for people to write about what they are doing or what is happening in one hundred and forty (140) characters or less. you can use twitter from your computer or mobile device. You can have a sms (text message) to you informing you of a post by someone or something. Twitter is used by millions of people such as firemen, policemen, the white house/Obama, celebrities, government, people, churches, pastors, youth pastors, etc.. People can write whatever they feel like. Some people write about what they are having for breakfast!! Some people write about crisis, having a baby, getting married, disasters, Obama, divorce, how they hate someone, politics, their boyfriend/girlfriend, etc..They all use this to let their people know whats going on in this crazy world. Twitter popularity has exploded and this says about us that we are fascinated in what our world is and to know whats going on in the world, such as fires, Obama 
, disaster storms, etc.. Twitter is a good thing to have because like if you are in storm and have NO way of letting people know whats going on and even if your alright, you can tweet about it. It is going to change our world culture a lot. News being put up, advertisement being put on it and so much more. Twitter is not like other social networkings or a blog really. I think it is better because someday, who knows when, there is going to be a major crisis; and because of Twitters explosion in popularity, I bet almost the whole world will find out what happened. Steven Johnson said in his article, How Will Twitter Change the Way We Lived, “The speed with which users have extended Twitter’s platform points to a larger truth about modern innovation.”
